Important: The Department of Personnel & Administration is sharing the content below for informational purposes only. DPA is not involved in the management of websites. Members of the public experiencing issues with a colorado.gov website should contact the entity who operates the website. State employees with website questions or concerns should follow their internal procedures for managing website issues or contact the most appropriate vendor.

A vendor that supports many State of Colorado websites has issued a “content freeze” from May 1 through May 8, 2026. During this time, some agencies or offices may not be able to add or update important resources including:

  • Press releases
  • Informational webpages
  • Documents
  • Forms

Will Websites Still Be Available?

Websites should be up and running but may not include new information until after the content freeze has been lifted. If you are unable to access a State of Colorado (colorado.gov) website during the content freeze period, or at any time, you can visit the DGS Colorado Status dashboard to see whether the vendor is reporting a known service disruption (outage).

What Sites Will Be “Frozen”?

Based on information provided by a vendor, at least the following State of Colorado websites will be impacted by this content freeze.

  • Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ecmc.colorado.gov)
  • State Personnel Board (spb.colorado.gov)
  • Behavioral Health Administration (bha.colorado.gov)
  • Multi-Sector Plan on Aging (aging.colorado.gov)
  • Advancing Transportation Safety (transportationsafety.colorado.gov)
